Epidote, a calcium aluminum iron sorosilicate mineral, frequently emerges in hydrothermal veins in metamorphosed rocks. It commonly coexists with minerals such as chlorite, actinolite, and prehnite in these environments. Its unique bar-like structures are deep, dark green.
