Ocean Jasper hails from the rugged shores of Madagascar, an island renowned for its diverse and extraordinary geological treasures. This orbicular Jasper is celebrated for its distinctive spherical patterns, reminiscent of abstract landscapes in a mesmerizing array of colors. 

Ocean Jasper is associated with volcanic activity, originating as silicified rhyolitic tuffs that form from the alteration and replacement of the ash deposits by chalcedony and quartz. The spherical patterns, known as orbs or "eyes," are believed to result from the concretionary growth of minerals within cavities, capturing the dynamic processes of mineral precipitation in a volcanic environment.
